Wearing BDU (Battle Dress Uniform) in public, is it permitted?
Written by Josh on August 8, 2009 – 10:16 am -Well, to my country, soldiers often seen carrying their BDU 's even they' King at public places, not in duty. You can see them wait for the bus, just walking around the neighborhood, well, things like that, to take their BDU. No, they 're not carrying any weapon (except the bayonet). And people seem not feel threatened by their surroundings. I just curious, as a period for example in the U.S.? Does the U.S. soldiers allowed to roam outside their BDU to bring down? Do you think that the US Army should switch back to the BDU?
Written by Josh on April 5, 2009 – 1:56 pm -I think the ACU is bad for discipline because soldiers don 't must polish the elements of the system and the press iron their uniform. It gives them the difficulties easy and also damages the pride and tradition. In my mind a Soldier 's the uniform is a good reflection of the soldiers themselves. I think also that the drill sergeants to commit almost as clean, medium and professional in ACU. Whatever happened to good old days of inspections of troops to open on Monday morning and has spit the highly polished elements of the leather blacks? I know that the ACU is right for Iraq, Afghanistan, but the DCU was much better. When the army has left the BDU think that has left much of pride, tradition and discipline. Read More →
