Why does the U.S. Army Walk in Public with their BDU’S?
Written by Josh on August 9, 2009 – 3:46 pm -I thought that I could answer this once entered in the military, but yet I still calculate this out. I 'm in the Marine infantry, I never once walked into a shopping mall, in an airport, etc. in a public area with my Desert Camo digital MARPAT. Theirs is a rule for the U.S. army that the conditions must bring their BDU 'S? Or is it just one aspect of a soldier on his way home from HQ and seems to pop in the mall? I don 't think it' s wrong to walk in uniform. I 'm Once you question why they do. If I had to walk around in uniform, I 'd consider as a goal of pollination.

Agrees. I think its wrong when in public quell'uniforme … I guess the free publicity for the army. If the army is fine with that then leave them be.

The different services have different missions and different rules. The aeronautics and the army can bring their ACUS into Public infantry of the navy can 'abuse /; t wear their MARPATs and navy can' you wear their utilities …. … There really is no reason for it either direction. Different strokes for different people. Edit ….. I do it because it 's convenient. I get coffee before work with rubber gaskets and feathered Donkun

I think its wrong to tru but I went a couple of airports on orders somewhere but I prefer uniformed civilian clothes when in public also in the national protection are seen more by the general public while back and forth punch on a great thing not the one or the other way

Until a few years ago for no service was allowed in public BDU 'uniforms or other work. For the marine infantry are not yet allowed them personally and as agreed with some retired army personnel so I think that is not a good idea to allow for any branch of service. Casa permission to fly in from California or anywhere else should come into power a certain type of uniform dress if you want all to know that you are military. Bring uniforms outside the base for freedom or trade personal is a personal choice and the only time the military will need to bring military uniform outside the base when the military or trade represent the state at a function mlitary . Being a jack of Marine if you get outside the base interfered on your MarPat 's will be prepared and charged with violation of the Marine Corps vesta adjustments. My personal opinion is still MarPat, Cammies, BDU 's, ACU' s so is the uniform of work and should not be allowed in outside the base by any service.

the army when I was told that we have to bring your uniform when you go especially when flying because it incites people to believe more easily. if your afraid to be a target because of your uniform are all a favor and find another job

Do not ever port my unifrom in public. I have renounced my jogging in PT 's because too many people stop their cars to communicate with me. I **** the attention! It 's just a job!

I feel good for most people, the convenience … me and my husband as at least 25 minutes from the house and good for about 20 miles …… its a lot easier if we just stop the deposit on the house rather sense of the whole house of sense to change and then to the back … they are also in their class at 's why you may have just graduated and are required to carry them for the day …. my husband wants to get out of his uniform when it takes away from work but sometimes just save much more gas and time …..
