The ACU 's is the uniform of newre that the army is carrying. The Camoflouge uniform of the army. And the BDU 's is the darker the uniform leading, camoflauge of these models is green and darker brown uniforms of black in them. The BDU 's is the standard battle dress. I hope this aid to any outside.

Thanks JD … I 'VE that is the question. Interestingly, the ACU and MARPAT look so similar … but the naval infantry really have been a COPYRIGHT for MARPAT! The aircraft and navy also are developing their own uniforms digitally based model camoflague. Nice to see the jump my tax dollars developing FOUR different versions of the same product.

The ACU is the combat uniform of the army and the BDU is the standard battle dress. The difference is the model of camouflage. The ACU 's model of the computer-designed and is supposed to be more efficient in most types of land that the BDU. The BDU uniform is darker and has a sheet-type model that is effective in wooded areas, but you kind of sheets that hang out in an open field or in the desert. There is also a third uniform, the DCU for the camouflage uniform of the desert … you can guess what that one 's designed for. The ACU is supposed to replace both. The jury is still out on how effective it is. I remember when they brought in BDUs, I said that we were going to be an "improvement" wide, above the old uniform of fatigue. The only thing that improved was the cost - the cost went from $ 15.00 for a shirt and pairs of pants to $ 44 for a shirt and pairs of trousers. The ACUS are even more expensive. As the old saying goes around in the military to buy new uniforms and equipment for the military: "The guy who designed it does not and never has the guy who bought it has not ever seen it."

How to control the army. (I left in September 6) was leading the ACUS. Starting from October last year the non-BDUs longer in use. The ACUS are different digital printing of BDUs that are like a hunting patern. The ACUS are very pleasant I have gradetti much more than the BDUs. The ACUS have more pockets and have plates of veco and in alignment and your crest of the unit. And the army should not the u-bed as the BDUs. Hope that this aid
